This is a picture of the mundial economy.

I took the news from de The Washington Post web on May 30th, 2011.

PIECE OF NEWS SUMMARY:

Benchmark oil for July delivery was down 6 cents to $100.53 a barrel at midday Singapore time in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The benchmark contract added 36 cents to settle at $100.59 on Friday.

In London, Brent crude for July delivery was down 16 cents to $114.87 a barrel on the ICE Futures exchange.

Before the uprising against Moammar Gadhafi’s regime, Libya produced about 1.6 million barrels per day, but output has ground to a halt during the revolt that began Feb. 15.

Some analysts expect the eventual return of Libyan crude production will help push oil prices lower. Capital Economics said it sees Brent trading below $90 by the end of 2011 as political upheaval in the Middle East and North Africa, which it estimates has added about $20 to the price of crude, eases.

Oil has dropped from a 30-month high near $115 a barrel on May 2.

In other Nymex trading in June contracts, heating oil fell 0.5 cent to $2.99 a gallon and gasoline was steady at $3.09 a gallon. Natural gas futures rose 2.5 cents to $4.54 per 1,000 cubic feet.

Could you survive in the wilderness?

If no one rescued me after two days I would take some of my bags and start walking.

If the bear started to run towards me I would lie on the ground and pretened to be dead.

If I couldn't fins any shelter I would continue walking.

If I coludn't find anything else to eat I wouldn't eat anything in case it is poisonous.

If I were feeling Ill because of dehydration I would drink from the stream.

If I come to a river I would follow the river downstream.

______________________________________________

Two of the hottest streaks in tennis will collide this week if Rafael Nadak and Novak Djokovic, the world Nº 1 and Nº 2 respectively, make it through to the final of the Mutua Madrid Open.

I took this picture from The Daily Telegraph
web site on May 3th, 2011.

In this picture there are the best of tennis, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. The two mens hold the cups.

Piece of news summary

That is the most likely scenario, given that Djokovic has won all 27 matches that he has played this year — including five tournaments — while Nadal’s last defeat on clay came fully 34 games and two years ago against Robin Soderling in Paris.

Unless someone pulls off a stunning feat of giant-killing, it will be the indomitable Serb against the invincible Spaniard on Sunday.

While the Big Two have been polishing their latest trophies, Murray has only just emerged from the worst losing streak of his career.

He has been in Spain for over a week,  the sore elbow that kept him out of the Barcelona Open. There was also a 16-game practice match against Nadal himself, which ended up in an 8-8 draw.

How to tell the time

It use 'am' and 'pm' in language more formal and usually written.
Example: Are Banks open from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Say the hours first and then the minutes.
 Example: 7:45 - It’s quarter to eight.

For minutes 01 through 09, you can pronounce the '0' as oh.
Example: 11:06 - eleven (oh) six

Say the minutes first and then the hours. Use past and the preceding hour for minutes 01 through 30. Use to and the forthcoming hour for minutes 31 through 59, but .

Example: 7.15 - fifteen minutes past seven
7.45 - fifteen minutes to eight

Another possibility of saying   '15 minutes past'   is:   a quarter past
Another possibility of saying   '15 minutes to'       is:   a quarter to
Another possibility of saying   '30 minutes past'   is:   half past

Example: 5:30 - half past five

Use o'clock only at the full hour.

   Example: 7:00 - seven o'clock (but 7:10 - ten past seven)

For times around midnight or midday :

  00:00 - midnight
  12:00 - midday or noontt

What is school for ?

What is school for ?
School is where you prepare for the future.
It has classroms, it has more computers and other commodities.
It is to study in:
What can we do to improve our future ?

How to write numbers in English

This is the list between numbers zero to twenty.

0 zero 10 ten
1 one 11 eleven
2 two 12 twelve

3 three 13 thirteen

4 four 14 fourteen

5 five 15 fifteen

6 six 16 sixteen

7 seven 17 seventeen

8 eight 18 eighteen

9 nine 19 nineteen
20twenty

If a number is in the range 21 to 99, and the second digit is not zero, one should write the number as two words separated by a hyphen.

21 twenty-one
25 twenty-five
32 thirty-two
58 fifty-eight
64 sixty-four
79 seventy-nine
83 eighty-three
99 ninety-nine

In English, the hundreds are perfectly regular, except that the word hundred remains in its singular form regardless of the number preceding it (nevertheless, one may on the other hand say "hundreds of people flew in", or the like)

100 one hundred
200 two hundred

900 nine hundred

So too are the thousands, with the number of thousands followed by the word "thousand"

In American usage, four-digit numbers with non-zero hundreds are often named using multiples of "hundred" and combined with tens and ones: "One thousand one", "Eleven hundred three", "Twelve hundred twenty-five", "Four thousand forty-two", or "Ninety-nine hundred ninety-nine." In British usage, this style is common for multiples of 100 between 1,000 and 2,000 (e.g. 1,500 as "fifteen hundred") but not for higher numbers.

Intermediate numbers are read differently depending on their use.

My favorite cartoons.

I quite like watching cartoons on TV. On some channels can still see old cartoons. Some of them are a bit boring, but Dragon Ball is one of the good ones. I like the mysterious and fantastic world in which they live, the different characters are different and weird. The fights between them are always exciting. I love animations like Finding Nemo and Shrek. The character Shrek is very funny. He’s a smelly and ugly green monster, but he has a good heart. He just wants a quiet life, but somehow becomes a hero.

Simple plan - Perfect

Hey dad look at me
Think back and talk to me
Did I grow up according to plan?
And do you think I'm wating my time doing things I wanna do?
But it hurts when you disapprove all along

And now I try hard to make it
I just want to make you proud
I'm never gonna be good enough for you
I can't pretend that
I'm alright
And you can't change me

'Cuz we lost it all
Nothing last forever
I'm sorry
I can't be perfect
Now it's just too late and
We can't go back
I'm sorry
I can't be perfect

I try not to think
About the pain I feel inside
Did you know you used to be my hero?
All the days you spent with me
Now seem so far away
And it feels like you don't care anymore

And now I try hard to make it
I just want to make you proud
I'm never gonna be good enough for you
I can't stand another fight
And nothing's alright

I ara m' esforço per fer-ho
Només vull fer-te sentir orgullós
Mai seré prou bo per a tu
No puc suportar una altra baralla
I ara no estara res bé

'Cuz we lost it all
Nothing last forever
I'm sorry
I can't be perfect
Now it's just too late and
We can't go back
I'm sorry
I can't be perfect

Nothing's gonna change the things that you said
Nothing's gonna make this right again
Please don't turn your back
I can't believe it's hard
Just to talk to you
But you don't understand

'Cuz we lost it all
Nothing last forever
I'm sorry
I can't be perfect
Now it's just too late and
We can't go back
I'm sorry
I can't be perfect

'Cuz we lost it all
Nothing last forever
I'm sorry
I can't be perfect
Now it's just too late and
We can't go back
I'm sorry
I can't be perfect
